This stunning retreat offers two bedrooms, three full bathrooms, and sleeping space for up to six guests, all wrapped in comfort, charm, and the beauty of Colorado’s high country.

The Space

Step inside through the walk-out basement level, where you’ll find a cozy entertainment room featuring a bumper pool table and TV—ideal for game nights and movie marathons. This space transforms into a private studio with a queen Murphy bed and its own full bathroom, offering additional flexibility and privacy for your group.

Upstairs, the heart of the home invites you in with a full kitchen and open living area that’s perfect for gathering. Warm up by the gas fireplace or head outside to the balcony and take in the breathtaking lake and mountain views.

Down the hall, you’ll find a full bathroom and a serene queen bedroom for a restful night’s sleep.

The luxurious primary suite is your personal haven, featuring a king bed, TV, and private ensuite bathroom. Wake up to beautiful views of the lake and surrounding peaks right from your window.

The full kitchen offers everything you need to prepare meals at home, while the open living area provides a comfortable place for everyone to gather.

Cozy up beside the gas fireplace after a day of hiking, boating, or exploring downtown Grand Lake, or step onto the balcony to enjoy the unforgettable lake and mountain views.

The lower-level entertainment area features a bumper pool table and TV, making it an ideal spot for game nights and movie marathons.

Outdoor Living

Outdoor living is what summer in the Rockies is all about, and this home delivers with two private outdoor spaces.

The second-story balcony features comfortable seating, a gas fireplace, and beautiful views overlooking the lake and surrounding mountains.

The lower lakeside patio offers a dining table where you can enjoy meals, sunsets, and peaceful moments by the water.

A shallow private beach area provides convenient access to the sparkling shores of Grand Lake, while kayaks are available for guest use with a signed waiver.

Important Home Information

• This home comfortably sleeps up to six guests.

• This home shares a breezeway entrance with the owner’s home, but the guest accommodations and outdoor areas are entirely private.

• 4WD or AWD and/or snow tires are required during the winter months.

• Winter driving conditions can occur anytime from October 1 through June 1.

• This home does not have air conditioning, which is common for homes in our high-alpine area.

Winter Arrival

Please be prepared before beginning your drive to the mountains. Four-wheel-drive vehicles are highly recommended. Although the main roads are typically well-plowed, many residential areas require traveling over steep hills and dirt roads that may not be maintained as frequently.

Chain laws for non-commercial vehicles can be put into effect at any time. We do not recommend driving Berthoud Pass in a front-wheel-drive vehicle unless you are comfortable installing chains yourself.

Weather and driving conditions can change rapidly. We are unable to provide refunds related to weather or road conditions, so please plan accordingly.

Property Policies

• The minimum age requirement to rent this home is 26.

• This home is not pet-friendly. No exceptions will be made, and private messages requesting exceptions will be declined.

• Smoking is not permitted.

• Parties, events, and weddings are not permitted.

The Lakeside Chalet was a nicely furnished house with excellent views of Grand Lake and Rocky Mountain National Park to the North. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen well stocked. We would definitely stay there again!

We had a fantastic long weekend stay celebrating my Husbands birthday. The private dock and kayaks were our favorite amenities, closely followed by the deck/patio and grill. Such a great place for a family gathering or a few couples to spend a few nights together.

We had a great time over labor day weekend. The lake was packed, but the Chalet was the perfect place to kick up our feet and enjoy the views. The owners were awesome too! Definitely recommend and will be booking again.
