Kristy was born and raised in Florida where she attended and graduated from the University of Central Florida before moving out west to fulfill her love for the mountains, skiing and everything outdoors. In her spare time, she loves music and songwriting and fulfilled a lifelong dream when she went back to school to obtain a second bachelor’s degree at the University of Colorado to study Music Business.
While in school, she began working in commercial and residential real estate management in Denver, overseeing everything from high rise office buildings, residential apartments, commercial HOA’s and client relations that continued into a fulltime position for over 8 years.
In 2019 she purchased Grand Mountain Rentals and began a lifelong dream of living and working in the Rocky Mountains and enjoying life in beautiful Grand County, Colorado with her fiance Nathan and their dog Lil’ Blackie. She is dedicated to running a highly attentive and knowledgeable local operation filled with people who love what they do and where they live!

Sophia moved to Grand Lake from Colorado Springs in 2022 with her boyfriend August and their cat Sundance. Sophia has studied at the University of Nebraska Lincoln and Southeast Community College. Her professional background includes seven years of diverse sales based guest and client services. Getting her start in restaurants and bars working her way up the chain before eventually transitiong to other careers in hospitality before ending up in Property Management.
She keeps busy in her spare time by practicing and studying yoga, and is on her way to becoming a yoga teacher and dedicated yogi. Sophia loves staying active, engaging in anything and everything mountain sports, from hiking,climbing, kayaking, skiing and more!
Sophia is passionate about creating an upholding an exceptional standard for customer service, and takes pride in her ability to create genuine connections with others. She's very excited to bring her powers of organization, efficiency, and authenticity to the team at Grand Mountain Rentals.

Fiona is Colorado born and raised, her love for the Rocky Mountains is woven into who she is. Fiona moved to Grand Lake in fall of 2022 in order to better share her love of the outdoors with her young daughter, and to be nearby her closest friend of nearly 17 years; a Grand Lake lifetime local. Growing up in the Denver Metro area the Rockies along the western skyline were always beckoning, making family hikes and day trips cherished memories. In her professional life Fiona has 10+ years of experience surrounding customer service with a career spanning several different industries. From debt collection to telecommuincations, conflict resolution to escrow, retail and hospitality, Fiona's seen it all!
A self-described "crazy plant lady" she loves tending to her tropical houseplants, growing her home collection, and occasionally bringing a few new additions to the office. In her spare time you can find Fiona hiking, camping, and fishing with her family, enjoying a book, or getting creative playing Animal Crossing.
With a dedication for perfecting the client experience and building lasting business relationships, Fiona is excited to bring her expertise and experience to the team!
Lil' Blackie and Duck are living their best lives up here in Grand Lake. They can be found snoozing in the office, eating treats, playing in the snow and greeting guest as they arrive. They love the water and car rides. Make sure you say hi if you stop in to see us!
Joining our greeters is Yuji! You can find him with his head out of the car window enjoying a ride, chewing a good bone, bounding through snow banks, or getting some belly rubs in. If you stop by our office he'll be waiting to say hello!
