Description

**This cabin is located in the Town of Grand Lake, NOT Estes Park**

This spectacular home sits on the shores of Shadow Mountain Lake. Everything about this estate is high end and luxurious. Amazing views from both inside and outside. Decks for relaxing and spending time with family with a beautiful built in gas fire pit perfect for gathering. Be sure to relax in the hot tub for soaking at the end of a busy day of hiking, boating, exploring Grand Lake and area. The private boat dock is sure to be an amenity that the whole family will enjoy as you have the ability to dock your boat conveniently, just outside the home during your stay. Evenings, sit by the outside gas fire pit to star gaze and make great family memories. This expansive 4 bedroom home offers 3 full bathrooms and 2 half bathrooms. The master suite has in floor bathroom heat and a gorgeous soaking tub, which is sure to be a relaxing end to an adventure filled day. Great room features a wonderful living area, large dining table for family meals and game nights and a chef's kitchen that make meal preparations easy and enjoyable. The lower-level bar and rec room has a pool table, air hockey table area and television. Living areas and bedrooms all have television with Dish TV and Blu Ray Players so everyone has their own entertainment. Two car attached garage for protected parking. Also available, at an additional fee, is a guest house with amazing views and a huge living space with comfortable open floor plan, well equipped efficiency kitchen, two queen beds and full bath (strict maximum occupancy of 4). Full estate can be booked by calling our officeor both can be booked directly on our website. Guest home is called JR Grand Lincoln.

Policies:
- Minimum Age Requirement to rent this home is 25
- 4WD or AWD and/or Snow Tires required during winter months. Winter conditions can occur anytime Oct. 1st - Jun 1st.
- This home is Not Pet Friendly – No exceptions will be made
- This home is Non-Smoking
- No Parties or Events

Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations made prior to 30 days of your arrival date for stays of 6 nights or less will incur a $50 cancellation fee and forfeit the non-refundable booking fee. Cancellations of reservations of 7 nights or more, prior to 30 days before your arrival date incur a $200 cancellation fee and forfeit the non-refundable booking fee. For cancellations within 30 days of arrival date the entire amount is non-refundable for all reservations.

Winter Arrival:
Please be prepared before beginning your drive to the mountains! Four-wheel drive or all-wheel drive vehicles are highly recommended. Although the main roads are usually plowed well, many residential areas require traversing steep hills on dirt roads that are not as maintained. Keep in mind that chain and traction laws for non-commercial vehicles can be put into effect at any time. We do not advise driving Berthoud Pass in a front-wheel drive vehicle unless you a comfortable putting chains on yourself. Weather and driving conditions may change rapidly. We will not accommodate refund related to weather or road conditions, please plan accordingly.

This is a beautiful home in a lovely location. The management company was very polite. When we had a small issue they sent someone to the home to correct it, and called later that day to confirm all was good. We will come back.

This house is amazing. <br/><br/>Everything from them breaking up the deposit, the cost of the rental into payments was really nice. The experience we got from the front desk was great as well. <br/><br/>Having the boat dock allowed easy access to dock the boat and get on the lake early in the morning. <br/><br/>The spacious house was well maintained and the views were amazing. <br/><br/>The town is literally a 2-3 minute drive with lots of great food and shops to browse around in. <br/><br/>We will definitely be back next year for our next family summer vacation.

Experience was great. Boat dock was not up to par for a 24 ft. surf boat. Had to rent a slip for tbe weekend at trail ridge marina <br/>

We stayed at this lovely cabin for 5 days, very comfortable, with a magnificent view, a few minutes away from Rocky Mountain National park and 5 minutes from town. Well equipped kitchen. We hiked Adams falls and short trips to Rocky Mountain. Enjoyed the jacuzzi and the fireplace.you have to buy your wood and every supplies like dishwasher soap.<br/>Management returned the calls very promptly.<br/>The only con, you have to bring your trash to a dumpster at the we had to make two trips , first the trash and come back for the luggage.<br/>Overall great place with a gorgeous view

Trash is a constant battle here in the rural Rockies because of our abundant bear population and lack of options as far as trash pick-up is concerned. A beautiful house with lots of space to spread out but also good communal space. We came for a friends weekend, and it was the perfect setting.

Great place to gather wifamily. The only downside was the kitchen supplies were a little lacking. Examples, only 2 dish towels, lots plastic storage food containers but mostly lids. These were very minor with the overall experience.

This home was immaculate in every way possible. From the view off the deck, to the kitchen to the game room, it was everything that our family of 7 needed. The management team was excellent and answered all our questions, they even stopped by with complimentary bags of ice as the ice machine had been giving them issues and was scheduled for a repair. No bother to us, we understand things happen. We really enjoyed boating on the lake and watching the sunsets from the deck. The gas fireplace outside was the cherry on top. Thank you so much for such a wonderful experience. We will be back!

We rented this home and its guest house for a staff retreat with 11 people. We had an amazing time waking up to the views of the glass-like lake, boating every day thanks to the convenient dock, cooking wonderful meals in the big kitchen, and lounging on the deck by the fire every night. This is a wonderful property and we would stay again. <br/><br/>My only suggestion is that some routine maintenance be conducted before too long. The gate to the deck fell off the hinges the first time we used it. The hinges aren't broken, just loose. The handle to the spray attachment on the bathtub is also broken so you cannot use that either, and other small issues like a toilet paper holder in the master bathroom. <br/>Minor to be sure, but something that should be attended to quickly for guest comfort. <br/><br/>This beautiful lake home should be used for vacation only, and guests should not expect to work while staying here. The WiFi is very limited. You can use your phone as a hotspot, depending on your service, but that is only realistic for short periods of time. So please take that into consideration and plan for visits to the main part of town if you need daily Internet. <br/>Overall, it was magical and I would highly recommend.

Our maintenance team checks on this property several times a month in between rentals and the gate is on the list of items to repair before winter. We will certainly look into the bathtub spray attachment as we were not aware there was an issue with it. WiFi has never been a complaint in this home so perhaps it just needs to be rebooted or something of that nature. We certainly hope that you come back and stay again and are delighted that you enjoyed your stay at this beautiful home!

We stayed here with our whole family (mom, dad, 5 adult kiddos and a granddaughter) for Christmas and it was WONDERFUL! The cabin is beautiful!!!! The view looking out over the frozen lake with coffee every morning, sitting in the hot tub (during a gentle snowfall!) in the evenings, cooking in the kitchen that is big enough for big meals and lots of helpers, my husband and I retreating to the master on the 3rd floor to sit by our own fireplace when we needed a quiet moment....literally it was a magical Christmas that we will never forget. We had one issue with heat and it was addressed immediately. Everyone we dealt with was so kind and helpful, we will be back for sure! (Our “kids” have informed us this is now an annual event :)

In a word, WOW! This home is incredible in every way possible: on the lake; beautifully built; incredible lake views from everywhere in the house; hot tub and fire pit; stunning water feature creating your own outdoor river; private dock; I even saw a baby moose walk into the lake while I was fishing one morning..literally everything we wanted! And Kristy was awesome in helping us book and taking care of everything. 10 out of 10!

My family was delighted to spend 5 days on the Grand Lake in the log cabin.<br/>We enjoyed the amenities, landscaping, flowers and humming birds on the property. The cabin was clean and everything was in good working order.<br/>The cabin is in the best spot to enjoy the lake and the mountains in the background.

The cabin was great - clean and cozy with lots of amenities (although the dock, gas fire pit and waterfall were not available). The rental experience was also great. Kristy was very communicative and helpful. We had some weather at the end of the trip that cut our hiking short, but I can't think of a better place to spend bad weather with family. We had a great time playing pool and foosball and watching movies in front of the fire. Wish we could have stayed longer.

The home was awesome. The owners very responsive to all our needs and questions. So much to do in Grand Lake. We would highly recommend renting this house and going to Grand Lake.

The house and location were absolutely beautiful. We couldn’t have asked for a more wonderful cabin right on the lake. The view and waterfall were peaceful. The furnishings in the property were of great quality and we all had plenty of room to spread out. The property management staff was courteous and went above and beyond to be extremely helpful. A few upgrades they might consider would be to maintenance the log railings that were rotten and falling apart in a few areas, the outdoor tables and wooden loveseat rocker had to be thoroughly cleaned before we could use them, and there was quite an algae bloom on the pond with swarming airborne gnats. That did not ruin our overall experience. A small stock of general cooking spices would be extremely helpful as well as more bathroom amenities, otherwise we had everything we needed.

Thank you for your review. We are happy to say that the log railings that were an issue have now been repaired and replaced. We apologize for any dirt or pollen on the outside furniture. It's always a battle in the mountains to keep outdoor furniture completely clean.

This property is better than described! The rental process was easy and Ralph even met us at the house for an easy check-in process. The access to the dock was easy which allowed for great water sports and fishing during our stay. The house has everything we needed and we would definitely choose this property again.

We had the most amazing time at this fantastic property. Waking up to beautiful views, relaxing in the hot tub or by the fire pit, and trying our luck fishing off the dock kept us plenty entertained. When we felt like getting more adventurous, the cabin was close to hiking, boat rentals, as well as ATV rentals, which we took advantage of. The quick trip into town was also handy to grab a pizza or enjoy a nice dinner, when we didn't feel like cooking.We ate at the Sagebrush, highly recommended. The cabin and surrounding property was clean and well maintained with all the amenities anyone could possibly need and the outdoor waterfall was simply spectacular. We honestly couldn't ask for more in a vacation spot and hope to be back soon!

Loved the place would stay there again for sure. Only negative was the wifi...our mobile phones were faster than the wifi.

We traveled from Nebraska to enjoy an awesome vacation with friends at Grand Lake, CO. The Grand Lincoln Log Cabin is beautiful and the view of the Shadow Mountain Lake is spectacular. The property is in a great location near to town. This spacious home is very well appointed with everything you need to enjoy a relaxing getaway. We spent a lot of time on the deck enjoying the beautiful scenery and the waterfall. The rental management was very helpful. We would definitely stay at this property again.

Over-all experience was great. Calise and Ralph were very helpful and made our stay as good as possible. As a former owner of rental properties thought the following suggestions would help. We were told the fireplace was gas, it was wood burning with no wood or starter provided, need extra towels for hot tub use, shower handle in the master needs to be tightened, should have at least 8, probably 10, chairs around the dining room table for large gatherings, personal opinion but pillows were too hard, too big and not enough of them, no lamps that you could read by in the bedrooms and living room, should have a throw blanket in the living room, no trash bags in the garage for the cans if that's what you want guests to use, the second french door going to the deck would not operate thereby making the screen door unusable thereby allowing bugs in. Realize the above is getting pretty picky but want to help for the future. Over-all, we had a great time and the cabin was awesome. Would come back again and again as long as Calise and Ralph are handling things for us.

Thank you for the great review! We also appreciate your suggestions. The main fireplace in the living room is a gas starter fireplace that burns wood. Our homeowners have noted your suggestion and have ordered a cord of wood for guest use. One of the closets did hold extra chairs, however, based on your comments we will be putting them in the garage so they are more readily available. Also, more throw blankets will be provided. Screens are working properly. Again, thank you for your review and your suggestions which have proved quite helpful. We want to make sure that Grand Lincoln Log Cabin is a comfortable retreat for everyone! Looking forward to welcoming you back some day!

The stay in Grand Lake at this magnificent cabin exceeded all expectations. The home itself is perfect down to every detail, and the location on Shadow Mountain Lake provides the best view in the area. Grand Mountain Rentals was the best rental agency we have dealt with in every way. They were informative and helpful and available at any time. The Grand Lake area itself is extraordinary and full of activities that fit nearly every taste. The nearby restaurants provide a great variety and the food was excellent. We look forward to returning next summer.
