The second bedroom is equipped with a twin-over-full bunk bed, making it ideal for families or groups.

- The minimum age to rent this home is 25
- 4WD / AWD, snow tires or chains are required for winter arrivals. Winter conditions can occur anytime Oct. 1st - Jun 1st.
- This home is not pet friendly - NO exceptions per HOA regulations
- This home is non-smoking
- No parties or events
- *No oversized vehicles / boats/ trailers / ATV’s or snow machines in lot, only allowed to unload
- *Parking Spaces Available: 1 with parking pass
- Please note: This home does not have air conditioning, which is common for homes in our high-alpine area

Winter Arrival:
Please be prepared before beginning your drive to the mountains! Four-wheel drive vehicles are highly recommended. Although the main roads are usually plowed well, many residential areas require traversing steep hills on dirt roads that are not as maintained. Keep in mind that chain laws for non-commercial vehicles can be put into effect at any time. We do not advise driving Berthoud Pass in a front-wheel drive vehicle unless you a comfortable putting chains on yourself. Weather and driving conditions may change rapidly. We will not accommodate refunds related to weather or road conditions, please plan accordingly.

First off -> I will list the negative but overall it was a great stay!<br/><br/>We are a family of 5 and had a very positive stay here - baring a few furniture issues- specifically with the bunk beds. There is a huge issue with the thickness of the mattresses. 1) They are WAY larger than they need to be thus that the "roll bars" on the bunk bed are under the mattress. 2) They leave VERY little room between the ceiling and the bunk above. On Night on one of my kids hit their head on the fan and another on the bunk above themselves. By Night 3 they figured it out - so just be careful.<br/><br/>My daughter also had the Shower curtain fall on her head -- but she was ok.<br/><br/>Otherwise everything was great. One thing thats very odd is there was 2x copies of multiple boardgames (Scrabble / Monopoly / Sorry).<br/><br/><br/>I didn't feel the bathroom rugs were that clean and I would suggest the cleaning crew clean them each time they come.<br/><br/>Laundry in-unit was great!<br/><br/>We also had an issue where we could open the kitchen window but in order to close it we had to remove the screen and manually pull it back in.<br/><br/>Ice maker didn't work either. <br/><br/><br/>Ok now that the bad is over... it was a good stay and a great way to end up a camping trip with 2 showers + Laundry. Not too far from town. I'd recommend.

Very nice unit just a very short drive to shops and restaurants as well as the lake. Unit has no AC so warm nights can be uncomfortable. This unit has a gas line on the deck but no BBQ. Everything else needed is there to have a nice stay.

We do have a note on the listing that there is no AC, which is very common in this area. Unfortunately, the HOA passed regulations where no unit is permitted to have a grill, so they were all removed. We also don't list a grill as amenity, in hopes that there would be no confusion. The condo was nice but had a few issues. The master toilet did not work. The balcony had so much bird poop on it we did not use the space. <br/>The communication from the rental company and associated paperwork was excessive, confusing and frustrating. The in-person staff at the rental company was quite nice.

Hello Katherine, thank you for staying with us. We would just like to note a few things for future travelers - The toilet was repaired and only needed a super quick float adjustment. None of our other guests have mentioned any issue with the outdoor area - we are in the mountains and it certainly can be difficult to maintain but we will certainly take a look. Without much to go on about what you found to be confusing about our paperwork, you were simply provided an invoice, check-out information, garbage info and stage 1 fire restriction information, all certainly necessary for a successful stay in a rural mountain town.
